Musharraf's Trial !!! Rechewing the Gum

June has always been torrid regarding Pakistani territory but this time it coupled itself with blood.Talking of the Ziarat Residency attack to sadistic killing of tourists everything exacerbated the joy of newly formed democratic government which finally kicked off the same month.Meanwhile an important issue is whispers regarding ex president more termed as dictator General Pervaiz Musharraf.Though he was in hot waters even before elections regarding sporadic attacks verbally pinpointing him but during the last
week,Primeminister Mian Nawaz Sharif clearly said that Musharraf  will face the music for his ill doings. This is the first time Mian Nawaz Sharif has categorically warned the dictator since Gen.Musharraf’s arrival.
Talk shows have started analyzing the situation,Daily newsletters have tilted their orientation from challenges faced by the new government to this trial against Musharraf.Though my opinion is that nothing will happen in coming days,We are going to fiddle awaz.Dynamics of Pakistani politics is that a strong room overrides parliament and sometimes judiciary too.Though Judiciary looks ambitious this time and political parties too have an opinion that Musharraf should face off punishment albeit it’s like chasing rainbows when it comes to my opinion. Populace on the other hand are showing trivial importance towards the issue and that’s too not untoward.Cessation of loadshedding is their issue,Creating new job oppurtunities is their problem,Law and order is grim,Measles outbreaked. How can one expect people to support the cause when their own living is at stake.
We should not throw the baby out with the bath water in this regard.Musharraf has been in house arrest from a month or so and that’s due to institutional power whether judiciary or parliament but implementing article 6 is impossible because then former dictators from 1956 will be punished and that’s visually unnatural in sitting government where leader of the house was once a part of the then dictator General Zia Ul Haq.Shahbaz Shaif,Chief minister Punjab has also cleared his stance that Gen Musharraf will be trialed not for his 1999 coup but for judges detention. Those who collaborated and aided 3rd November or 1999 will not let anyone to touch Musharraf and inturn them. Most of them are now in ruling party. All these factors will lead to an unsolved jigsaw puzzle dominated by a jinx.International forces too will toil hard for Musharraf’s ouster in days to come and that pressure will finally allow leaders to let Musharraf safely fly from here even being on ECL.
Mian Nawaz Sharif’s stance regarding fair trial is imperative. He has ordered that justice should be justice but not political victimization that has been an integral part of our politics. This should be appreciated.

Ex dictator too has done some achievements for Pakistan but some of his tricky decisions finally
brought him before court. One thing should be clear that even though people dislike ex president, justice should be based on facts rather public opinion.Army should be isolated from the issue. There are honest generals and upright valiant soldiers in this fraternity. Commodities should not be superimposed onto institutions for their personal acts.Institution should be disengaged from the issue.Pakistan’s existence owes to army’s persistence.

From Ravi To Kunhar

The battalion has finally slept as we resumed our journey from islamabad to mansehra. While i am transforming my experience to words, only 2 of my friends are quenching the thirst of natural beauty.High and mighty mountains on twin sides at one moment realize you of Allah's majestic power while errected
communication towers distributed randomly on top gives a strong vindication of man as Ashraf Ul Makhlooqat.Road to Mansehra is good but who is free to shun landscapes for better roads.Sizzling natural beauty overrides logistics and infrastructure.
we all are going from Lahore so we are seeking more natural and relatively less artificial things.Sun is still blazing after 40 mins of drive towards mansehra which is untoward. What needs to be implemented here is strict anti littering laws. The route is not infested with people though they have religious views which is exhibited by their apparel too.Crossed Govt.College for women Hassan Abdal after taking a right turn and now vehicle is demanding power shift haphazardlyvia transmission shaft.Gudwara Punja Sb is also on way in Hassan Abdal.Embiance again surrounded by lush green mountains.A railway track also crooses road at this point.Twisted turns and erect steepy surface demands improved reflexes and so visitors spend their time in viewing how the driver is managing all that.Trucks are in abundance adorned with stickers and somepoetic illustrations revealing driver's experience in life(On a lighter Note).Mansehra is a place where you can still sense the immense heat though name suggests something in disparity with that. From Mansehra we hired two vehicles and started our journey to Naran.Naran is 122 Km from Mansehra. While at the beginning you start enjoying the journey but as you move on thrill factor
overcomes jubilation.River Kunhar flows on one side of road beneath you.Sharp twists and turns and apparently non vulnerable style of drivers will not let you sleep.Sky high mountains and jet white glaciers grasp your senses and you just start thinking about the dominance of nature in that yonra. It takes circa 4-5 hours from Mansehra to Naran depending on your rest and stay time.Naran is a place worth visiting.Eateries and hotels in abundance. From there you can visit Lake Saif al Malook,13 Km but at an hour’s drive from Naran.Lake is surrounded by mountains and serenity. No honking horns, zero screech,an absolute peace one can imagine. From there, don't bother to visit aansoo lake as it takes  more than 5 hours on foot to reach there and after climbing glaciers by hand, its that steepy in that area. From Naran there is a place named Lalazar. The route to Lalazar is Damn dangerous. You just  keep praying during the way. From Naran after spending 3 days,we came to Thandiani,a place approximately at 2 to 3 hours drive from Mansehra.Thandiani is nothing except you reach
on top of a mountain from where aerial view of surroundings is captivating i didnot find that due to plenty of trees blocking line of vision. It’s a picnic spot.A few of the hotels are there but not of the quality one expects.
Now we have to move back to Lahore from here. After leaving Thandiani,we reached Rawalpindi at about 6.Fast and Furious 6 captured attention of the crew and we screened that,But i opted Macdonalds infront of CINEPAX for spending my time.
At 12.30 Night we left for Lahore from Rawalpindi station.Reached Lahore at 5 am and now frazzled. That concludes our horrific, adventurous and somewhat fun filled tour.
